Mochiko Chicken

Ingredients

  • 5 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1 cup white rice flour
  • 1/3 cup corn flour
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons salt
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup chopped spring onions
  • 6 cloves finely chopped garlic
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 5 eggs

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl combine the flour, corn flour, soy sauce, salt, sugar, spring onions, garlic, cayenne pepper and eggs. Mix well. Add the chicken and marinate for 24 hours, refrigerated.
  2. Remove from refrigerator, deep fry and serve.
