Chinese-Style Vermicelli (Rice Noodles)

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) package dried rice noodles
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 clove finely chopped garlic
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon chilli sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 green onion, chopped

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add rice noodles, and cook for 4 to 5 minutes or until al dente; drain.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté garlic until tender. Stir in noodles, and season with soy sauce, chilli sauce, salt and pepper. Sprinkle top with chopped green onion.
