Ribbon Pasta

Ribbon pasta may be either flat or wavy sheets of pasta in a range of different lengths, widths and thicknesses. Wide or dried pasta ribbons are ideal for thick, heavy sauces, such as meat, chunky tomato or thick cream sauces, whereas thin or fresh ribbons should be served with a more delicate sauce, such as light oil or cream based sauces, butter based sauces and light tomato sauces.
