Chuka Soba

The long, wavy Japanese noodles have a fine texture and a mild flavour. Made from wheat flour, they are packaged in a brick form similar to ramen noodles. However, unlike ramen noodles they are not fried in oil before being dried and packaged, making them a much healthier alternative. Although often a light beige in colour, they are sometimes dyed yellow before drying.

Cook in boiling water for 2 to 3 minutes.
