Chow Mein Noodles
These Chinese egg and wheat noodles are used to make chow mein, in which the cooked noodles are formed into a pancake and fried on both sides.

Short lengths of deep-fried chow mein noodles are also sold; these brown, crunchy noodles may be added to salads and other dishes to provide a crunchy texture.
Cooking Information
Deep-fried noodles require no further cooking.
Dried noodles should be cooked for about 5 minutes in boiling water, whilst fresh should be boiled for about 3 minutes.
