Chinese Wheat Noodles
Also known as ganmein, the long noodles are made with wheat, water and salt. They are sold in a range of different thicknesses, some as thin as vermicelli, others as wide as tagliatelle and are generally white or light beige in colour.
Cooking Information
Fresh noodles may be cooked in boiling water for 2-4 minutes, whilst dried noodles should be cooked for 4-7 minutes. After cooking, rinse in cold water.
