Dried Dates

Evaporated dates are imported from North Africa, the Middle East, Spain and California in a range of styles: soft-dried or hard-dried, black, dark red or golden yellow. Some of the best dried dates are those that have been left on the palm trees to mature and sweeten in the sun. They are then packed into boxes, either on the stem or arranged onto a plastic stem. Alternatively, pressed blocks of dates are also available, ideal for adding to puddings, cakes and breads.
