Dried Banana

Dried bananas are usually available in two varieties: long, spears known as 'banana figs', and round slices.

Banana figs are intensely sweet and are best used for cooking purposes, whilst the round, crunchy varieties are ideal for making 'tropical' mixes with other dried fruits and nuts, or for simply eating as a snack on their own.
