Split Tin

A split tin loaf can be made by placing two portions of dough next to each other in a bread pan, which when baked, look like two very narrow rectangular loaves that are joined together.

Alternatively, a split loaf can be made by simply using one piece of dough and slashing it down the centre to produce a golden crust and moist crumb.
