Soufflé Dishes

This is a straight sided dish made from porcelain, glass or stoneware that allows the soufflé mixture to rise unimpeded above the edge. They are designed to be presentable enough to take straight from the oven to the dinner table - an essential factor when serving soufflé.
Dishes are available in a range of different sizes, from 7 cm diameter ramekins for individual portions, to 22 cm soufflé dishes that will hold up to 2 litres of liquid. Depths can vary from 3.5 cm for a ramekin to 13 cm for a deep soufflé dish.
Soufflé dishes and ramekins can also be used for other types of puddings, such as mousses, crème bruleé, pannacotta or crème caramel.
