Toasters

A toaster is a must for most kitchens; models are available that take 2, 3 or 4 slices of bread, and some may even cook thicker items, such as crumpets, bagels or muffins. Features to look out for include:
- Number of slices
Usually between 2 and 4. - Coolwall
The outside of the toaster remains cool during the cooking process. - High lift facility
Lifts the toasted item higher than a standard toaster, which means that small items (for example, crumpets and muffins) can be removed safely and easily. - Variable width slots
Good for toasting thicker items, such as crumpets or bagels. - Variable browning control
Allows you to make toast exactly how you like it. - Frozen bread setting
This defrosts the bread before it starts to toast it, resulting in a crisper piece of toast. - Mid-cycle cancel function
Allows you to interrupt the toasting process. - Warming rack
A rack over the toasting slots that helps to keep toast, rolls and croissants warm. - Keep warm facility
Keeps your toast warm until you are ready to eat it. - Removable crumb tray
Makes removing crumbs much easier.
